Grief Resources For Pet Loss

A little about me

In April 2023, I lost my beloved, my heart and soul dog, BooBoo. Boo is the entire reason I am here today and why I am a trainer and doula. You can read our story here. When she passed, I chronicled my journey of loss and grief as a way to help heal to to help others with their grief, like you.

Here are my posts:

In my period of anticipatory grief and through my bereavement process I also began compiling resources and things that helped (and things that didn’t help) into various directories as a hub of information for those who need it. These are freely available and I encourage you to share them.

Many are listed below but I also encourage you to check my Free Resources page for handouts including:

Euthanasia vets

If you are in need of an at-home euthanasia vet, visit my At-Home Euthanasia Vet Directory.

Doula/Grief Support Services

I am not a therapist but I’ve had clients ask me for guidance in these tough times and decisions. If you are struggling with your loss, grief or knowing when to say goodbye, I’d love to help support you.

I am not only a behavior consultant but also an end-of-life companion animal doula. You can read more about my doula service offerings here.

Memorialization Ideas

I have a post here on ways to memorialize your beloved, including examples of things I did for BooBoo.

I hope you find these resources helpful and I am so sorry you are enduring this difficult time losing your beloved.
