Module 8: Bringing Home Baby – The Importance of Inclusion

In this section I’m going to cover the importance of inclusion, what that really means for dog and baby and we’ll tackle some common struggles a lot of dogs have.

Including your dog in daily routines is something that is essential to familiarity and building bonds. We want them to be included so they can see the developmental changes the baby is going through. But inclusion doesn’t mean mean physical contact. Inclusion doesn’t mean that your dog needs to be on top of you or right next to your baby.
