Words can not express how grateful I am to Kate for her guidance, expertise and support throughout our training, but I’m going to try anyway. When I started with her, I never could have imagined getting to the place we’re at now. I couldn’t take the garbage out without my dog having a panic attack. If I left him for even just 30 seconds, he would yell at me when I returned. Never in a million years did I think I would get to the point where my dog was not only ok with me being gone, but he was relaxed enough to sleep. It’s truly incredible.

One of the things we discussed at the onset was the potential for anxiety medication to aid in the training process. While I was admittedly very reluctant, a few months in, I agreed to meet with a behavior vet that Kate referred me to and once again with her guidance and the two of them working in tandem, we found the right fit and because of that I have a happier dog. He’s less anxious in all situations, not just being left alone. People I’ve met at the dog park notice the difference and can’t believe it. I was worried it would change him or make him dopey when in reality it’s helped his true personality really shine.

I’m overcome with gratitude and appreciation for all Kate has done for him AND for me! Towards the end I realized I was continuing for my own benefit as she’s such a huge support system and really the only person in my life who truly understands what I’m going through. I sing her praise to friends, family and everyone I meet at the dog park. If you think there’s a chance your dog may be anxious, have separation anxiety or even just needs basic obedience training – DO NOT HESITATE. Email her and schedule a consult! I promise, you will not regret it.
