Kate was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn’t be happier that she came into our life. We were looking for help with our black lab/pit mix who could be aggressive with unfamiliar people when they came to the house or into her space on a walk. From the start, Kate helped us to understand some of the science behind Maddie’s behavior; explained her positive reinforcement approach, and gave us examples and “homework” after each session. I’m now a firm believer of the positive reinforcement model because I’ve seen how our dog has improved dramatically. Kate was able to specifically tailor a step-by-step program for us to follow and was always available for questions and feedback between sessions. The decision to have Kate educate us and help Maddie was the best thing we could have done for our dog and our family!
