Without Kate I would be a different person. That sounds dramatic, but it’s true.

I rescued two street dogs from India who had a ton of adjustment to go through. They were scared of inside, outside, being left alone, new people, AND resource guarding. They also weren’t potty trained. We also realized one of them had epilepsy. They ate our walls, ripped trim off the doors… it was brutal. They had to go everywhere with us, we stayed home basically all the time, and thought we had ruined their lives and ours. We literally couldn’t even check the mail.

It was horrible. I knew there would be tons of adjustment before they arrived, but I truly could not have understood the depths.
Enter Kate — not only did she help us understand what was happening from
a biology & behaviour perspective , she gave excellent, practical advice. She helped me reframe my role —her simple mantra “they’re not giving you a hard time, they’re having a hard time” helped me realize I am the steward of my dogs’ peace, and I committed to helping them.

I will admit I hesitated at the prices. Four years later I can say I truly have zero regrets, it was worth every penny. I just recommended her to my sister, who has also found this incredibly helpful. I ENJOY my dogs. I have a life outside of my house!

And my dogs? Some days I can’t even get them out of bed because they’re so relaxed. They come to us for love & affection, not because they’re worried we will leave them. Earlier this week we had been out for 4 hours and wondered “should we go home?”. When we did, they didn’t even come downstairs. Truly night and day.

Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it.
